How we handle your data — plainly explained

1. Who We Are

Travorea (travorea.com) is a travel content and planning platform operated by Dreamadsdigital. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights. Contact: contact@travorea.com.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data — if you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile picture.
  • Activity data — destinations you view, places and hotels you save, trip plans you generate, and your inferred travel preferences ("Travel DNA").
  • Contact form — name, email and message, used solely to reply to you.
  • Payment data — order ID, product and payment status when you purchase audio content. Card/UPI details are processed by Razorpay and never touch our servers.
  • Analytics — we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites.

3. How We Use AI Services

Some features (trip planner, audio tours, hotel search, food & shopping suggestions, chat) send your request text to AI providers — Google Gemini, xAI and ElevenLabs — to generate results. Requests are processed under those providers' terms; we do not send your name or email with these requests.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We do not set tracking cookies. Signing in with Google sets cookies from Google to keep you signed in. We use your browser's localStorage to remember your session, saved preferences and consent choice. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings.

5. Who We Share Data With

  • Vercel — hosting and cookieless analytics.
  • Upstash — database storage for your account, saved places and history.
  • Google — sign-in (OAuth) and AI processing (Gemini, Maps).
  • Razorpay — payment processing.
  • Resend — delivering contact-form email.
  • xAI / ElevenLabs — audio narration and music generation.

We never sell your data.

6. Retention

Account and activity data is kept while your account is active. Purchase records are retained as required for accounting. Contact-form emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your query.

7. Your Rights

You may request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete it entirely. You can delete your account data yourself from your dashboard, or email contact@travorea.com and we will action it within 30 days. EU/UK visitors have the rights set out in the GDPR, including complaint to a supervisory authority.

8. Children

Travorea is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date below.
